Democracy. Plato. The Olympics. Aristotle. Feta. Smashing plates. Greece has given us so many great things over the centuries. It's time we gave something back!

Thrillpower is coming to the seat of civilisation as 2000 AD heads to the Greek capital of Athens for the Comicdom Con Athens 2012!

Taking place from 30th March to 1st April, as well as a cadre of international guests the convention will feature a special exhibition of original artwork from the Galaxy's Greatest Comic - "2000 A.D.: The Judge Dredd Revolution".

The only Greek festival exclusively devoted to comics, Comicdom Con Athens is in its seventh consecutive year at the Hellenic American Union. Alongside special guests Milo Manara and up-and-coming Turkish artist Yildiray Cinar, there are two 2000 AD droids in attendance – script droid Mike Carey and art droid Rufus Dayglo!

(with big thanks to Rufus for being Tharg's ambassador and helping out with the exhibition!)

No, mainly on the basis that Dredd's costume is the wrong way round.
