Well if there can be a general thread for the two fanzines then we should have one for the other core titles at FutureQuake Press, even if they'll want to start a thread on the new comics when they come out I'm sure. Just because they have been too slack (or "busy" if you want to quibble) doesn't mean we have to go without one ;)

And now the obligatory blog link:

http://futurequakepress.blogspot.com

And their homepage:

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Anyway Lee Carter's stunning art for the next FQ is now up:

Add that to Boo Cook's corking Something Wicked cover:

And you have a recipe for thrills before you even open the comics up. Given the Zarjaz and Dogbreath ones (as you can see in the other thread) it might be FQP's best crop of covers - consistently arsom across the board.

I've not even had chance to open the FQ cover for a good look myself yet, thanks to Lee and Boo for a pair of stunning covers- both sorted out within half an hour of each other at Bristol this year.

2000 AD artists are among the most giving artists I've ever met- Both Lee and Boo are so busy it is shocking- but they have both delivered outstanding artwork and I'm really looking forward to seeing them in print.

Absolutely gorgeous work from the both of them. Too damn cool.

Lee Carter's amazing cover for the short story I illustrated makes me feel really inadequate! :o

Over on the FQ Blog we are starting to get ready for the new comics being launched in the near future.

We are also beginning a short run of strips that 'would' have been in MangaQuake 08, however that title has ceased to be.

Remember, if you like what you see, you can always get back issues from the FQP shop
