It looks great, and I really have to make time over Christmas to watch The Detectorists!

well worth it
looking forward the telling bone and electricky from Crook  :D

*pssst* Wasn't that Catweasel?

I right enjoyed that - the antidote to the excessively grim A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

A new Worzel Gummidge special came flying in under the radar, "Saucy Nancy". Just like last year Mackenzie Crook is utterly charming and rest of the cast is stellar. This was indeed the treat this year needed.

I didn't watch it, but I caught a glance of it on a tv, and some Cthulu-chinned nightmare was luring kids out to a secluded spot in a field and I thought that seemed a bit dark for daytime telly.

I really want to watch it, but the BBC player doesn't work here.  Barbara Windsor was the last Saucy Nancy, and was born to play a character of that name.  A remake is a nice little tribute to her, even if they couldn't have known she wouldn't be with us by the time it came out.
