Hello!

Cardiff Expo is on June 2nd 2018 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel, Newport Road, Cardiff.

Would be lovely to see some of the forumites there - I've booked quite a few droids this year:

Jon Davis-Hunt, Rob Williams, Abby Bulmer, Mike Collins, David Roach, Patrick Goddard, Si Gurr, & Dylan Teague.  Also Guesting are Rachael Smith, Chris Wildgoose, Laura Trinder, Martin Simmonds and more...

There will be live drawing throughout the day, with sketches being raffled off - all proceeds will go to the Hero Initiative.

There's also a panel with Jon and Rob, over at the USW Comics Symposium - free entry with an Expo ticket

Fellow Judges, I am in need of some advice for the Glasgow Comic con.....

This will be my first visit to a comic convention. I do have a judges outfit to wear but need to know is there facilities there you can change into costume at all.  ALSO I would like to have a few items signed by various members of the 2000AD panel.  I would like to attend both days.  Can you buy tickets at the door ??

Which day would be best for either ...comments please !!!!

I live only 20 miles south of Glasgow and will travel by train. ( or lawmaster if I can find one)

Hi, there's 2000AD creators involved in panels over both days :)

I'd also recommend pre-booking tixs - gets you ni quicker too :)

see you there

Thanks james for starting the thread :)

I'm co-producing this one and very happy that we've brought it back :) It's a smaller affair than in previous years but still very much focussing on comic art and writing.

The official website is here https://cice2015.wordpress.com/.  There's a few updates to be made but nearly all Toothy content is up to date - very happy to have Dave Broughton and GodMachine there as well as Mike Collins, Ian Edginton, Patrick Goddard and Dylan Teague.  Rob Williams is also confirmed but not yet on the website.

Hope to see some of you there :)

Let's try again fully annotated...

Meeting  Phil, DodeC & seeing Monty again also rocked.

Glasgow rocked. So did all the boarders - bloody ace to meet Cosh, Tips, Proudhuff, The Legendary Shark, Dog Deever, Buttonman, satanist, Judo and new favourite Judge - Gronkguy.  Ah balls, I know I've left someone off, too bloody tired!!

Anyhow, cool beans to see Richmond and the fragrant Wells again too....AND  I managed to get a group shot early Saturday evening of nearly everyone :)

Few more to go up tomorrow :)

Bristol was bloody brilliant - it was really cool to see people & see the Shed so stuffed, and I'm dead chuffed how well the panel went, given that it was the biggest to date.

Thank you matty_ae for asking your question straight after THAT one :/ could have been a very awkward ending otherwise :)

Argh - very envious - looked like an epic day :)

Hello!!

Tickets on the door for the day are £8, and a weekend ticket is £14.

Tickets will be available once all the pre-paid ticket holders have been given their wristbands....we're hoping this will be approx 1045.

We are expecting quite a lot of door sales so either get there dead early to queue, or come along later on in the day, when we will be letting more people in.  We'd let everyone in at once if we could but health and safety rules dictate otherwise.

Any other q's please ask on here and I'll try and help

:)

A Q & A after Judge Minty, exciting!

Very exciting, and I won't be there.  :( I hope someone records it.

Hello Albion :)

As long as everyone gives their consent, then yes, we hope to.

Panel details not going live for a while but I've had the schedule approved - panel (Willsher, Worley, Davis-Hunt & Gallagher) 1210 - 1300, Minty starts at 1630 and will have a Q and A afterwards.
