Its my first time and I'm v.excited. Will there be old progs for sale as well as artwork? Also do you have to take your own paper for Sketches or do the artists have their own?

Sadly no Due to cash reasons so every one else MUST have 3 times the fun to make up for it

It's my 3rd and I'm very excited, especially as this year for the first time I will be attending the legendary Shedcon tonight.  

It's considered good form to bring your own sketchpad - makes keeping the sketches afterwards easier too!

Oh yes, and without bored flatmates in tow this time around.  Also heading out to the legendarily legendary Shedcon for the first time, with expectations raised monumentally high by the board hype.

I will be attending, but not getting too wasted at the Shed as I can't stand the thought of feeling ill all day tomrrow- as has been the case at the last two Bristol cons.  Also, I tend to make a bit of a twat of myself after three pints.

Of course, I don't do anything as girly as puke up in the morning...

How long are the queues for sketches likely to be?

A definite 'Yes', that has turned into a 'Maybe' due to a friend dropping out.

What time Shedcon? and can you get a cheap hotel this late in the day?

Dredd 85: It all depends on the artist.

I'd expect huge queues for Fabry and McCarthy, due to the fact that they don't do this sort of this very often.

I'm not sure if there are any back prog merchants. I don't think there were last year.

I've just bought myself another A5 sketch pad in case I do really well and fill my current one. It's certainly the norm to bring something for the artist to draw on, but they should have the pens/pencils.

Definately. Probably not bothering with the portfolio session because I spent the sumer doing illustrations rather then actual comics. Shame as I'm doing Dredd for college, might bring that if anyone wants a look.
