[Tank Girl]

Whilst I love Rufus' drawings on Tank Girl (he has really captured the mad style of the original, with his own twist) but am I the only one who has a problem with this almost-monochrome colour scheme? This month's vivid mustard with extra coloured dots was particularly vile. I understand it is to be recoloured for the collected version and feel rather short-changed that we've been fobbed off with the 'unfinished' version.

Well I've been looking after my GF for 3 years of cancer treatment...Ops, Chemo,Radio, Hormone, and reconstructive...and still hitting my deadlines...Can I have an apology from you Burnsie?

You the man Rufus! i love your artstyle and your work on tank girl has been amazing, especially the covers to meg275 and 277

Wasn't looking to garner sympathy.. but medical conditions are no excuse for bad manners.. I hate people playing the cancer card. IT SUCKS BIG TIME...caps off.

i havent posted much in the past few years as  i have been fighting for my life against cancer / leukeamia and did not have access to a laptop. and if you know anyone that has had chemotherapy they are usually very tired and havent got the strength to do much. but at least i am in recovery now and can join back in on some forums. So i think i am due an apology from you at least.

The great thing about an anthology is there's something for everyone.. chances are your going to dislike something.

that's all very well..But someone just asked me if they could buy 'The Boys 28' cover he did...it was all digital...  
I wonder what archivists and collectors will not have access to in even 2 or 3 generations.. Digital storage is very poor.

Garry Leach's painting demo last year was great! So that sounds good to me!

It was great.I was his gorgeous assistant..the one he took the piss out of.

Actually that's quite a line up they have so far, this is getting bigger and better every year.

The line up is organised by the fantastic David Campbell of the Verbal Arts Centre and Garry Leach, as advisor.

David puts on an amazing show, with truly something for everyone, parents, school groups, kids, fans, collectors alike and it really is a model of what Comic shows/cons could and should be.

Viva la Campbells!
