Another major translation work for 2015: El Eternauta is coming from Fantagraphics.

One for those Euro comic hunters amongst us. Never heard of the creative team but considering it's an all female team I hope it get's good coverage.

Never heard of this. The cover certainly suggests the art will be lovely.

While we're on Humanoids, can anyone explain to me the point of the two Barbarella editions? One is about 72 pages and costs £50 while one, coming out in January and which I have on pre-order, has 152 pages and is £16!

One quick google search later revealed that Minute Eaters is the first sequel. Still doesn't explain the massive price irrationality.

When Humanoids came back in the English language market a few years ago, they do limited edition, larger sized book releases for the big name creators and since Barbarella is such a famous title this will be one of them. It's listed as coffee table size on their shop store (12" by 16") and "Published in a duotone edition, limited & numbered to 1200 copies only. Preface by comics historian Paul Gravett". Not sure what the page size of the cheaper one will be.

It's European, published by Humanoids and it's fantasy so don't hold your breath for a media storm....the artist had another fantasy series released by Humanoids in English, Elias the Cursed. Pleasant enough read. You can check out some art from it here.

My. GOD.

Ever since I laid eyes on 3D Maneuver Gear the ONLY thing I keep thinking of is, 'Gee, I wonder how cool Spider-Man would be with a pair of swords fighting man-eating giants?'

THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

You know. I thought the Avengers/Attack on Titan crossover was gonna be the wierdest crossover I read next year. Tyrns out it isn't. Because besides the second Sonic and Mega Man event crossover, Archie comics will also be having their flag ship character...meet a Predator. This is gonna happen.

I wasn't keen on Rat Queens at all. Felt like Saga but minus the fun and more bullshit. Did it get any better after issue two?

Did it get better? No. It was absolutely great from issue #1.

Comics I'm looking forward to in 2015? #1 is Dark Justice. Then it's the few comics that I still buy. 2000ad, Megazine, Rat Queens, Sex Criminals, X-files, Mulitversity, and Velvet.
