It's better than that?

Hope you get to a doctor, Shark. My personal experience with nagging knee pain is that I should have done something about it before I ended up injuring myself quite badly.

If you're trying to figure out which Megs belong to which year I can tell you that, but next week cos I'm on vacation from my spreadsheets. Or you could reverse engineer that info from the Dredd pages on the 2kstages site.

The Hunterian Art Gallery in Glasgow has an interesting wee exhibit by Frank Quitely, including a production video. It's about a whisky box he's illustrated. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

Regular readers of this thread should be made aware that this month's Fortean Times- out today- has a cover and interior feature about Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.

From the cover: "The multi million selling gamebooks that sparked a moral panic and became a cultural phenomenon." Also with an Ian Livingston interview.

Thanks for the tip. Good article.

Survival Geeks is the best comedy thrill in the prog.

Nikolai Dante

Anderson is very good, sometimes excellent. Often, though, the character works best in a supporting role in Dredd. Like in Dark Justice.

Zenith is one of the best multi-part series the prog's ever published.

Zenith, even though, at this stage of the competition we're deciding between excellence and excellence.

Nort scum marines! Dispense anti-pun grenades!

Abnett is good at ambiguous endings, isn't he? Like that time he finished Sinister Dexter.

Too much Ro-Busters and lunatic polemic drives Savage down for me.

Brass Sun

Can Rogue's disco dancing skillz save him from Gene the Hackman's fist-blades?

Kingdom's not perfect, mind you. By the time we got into space it all got a bit gradient fill. His wife was thrown aside as so much background dressing as we jumped quickly from scenario to scenario. The end is very much an admission that it could just go on and on.

But those are all the worst bits. Rogue has a longer list of those, and the episodic nature means a modern view of it is usually negative.Tis dated, so it is. Tonally awkward. But with great art.

Oh, there's that as well. I went looking for FP in Glasgow in Buchanan St, but they've moved, and there's a sweet shop in their old premises. I tracked them down today. Embarrassingly they didn't have this week's 2000AD, which I had to get from Smith's along the road.

I did read the first three or four trades- and still have them- but they were equally as tedious as the people who read them, I thought.

Sorry, but I just took you exactly at these words I've quoted. And I think your understanding of the word bigot is particularly narrow, given the actual dictionary definition. But, clearly we disagree, so we should move on. Happy to discuss further on a different thread, if you wish.

Is it "bigoted" to dislike a certain type of wanker? Well, no I don't think so- and indeed, diminishes the meaning of the word. You should try harder to do better.

Saying that anyone who enjoyed Sandman is a wanker is bigoted, yes. Review your comments and the dictionary and you'll see that I'm using my words correctly.

Some salt and vinegar with your bigot and chips?
