The rules are simple ( and stupid ), simply propose a fantasy scrap i.e dredd VS superman and then the other person names a winner with a reason why they won. It's all deeply revealing about a persons psyche.

I was going to praise John Wagner for the tragic genius of citizen Sump but instead... it's happened again.

Either on the website, on the cover of the prog or on the damn in this prog lineup I'm bound to see it somewhere. Of what do I speak? Why spoilers of course!

Want to know every major twist before it happens? Then look no further than this very site which displays the cover of the next prog which ruins the twist in sin city. One I'd forgotten about no less.

The inside this prog list is even worse I tried to look away but it showed a picture of Judge Death which revealed his escape plan.

Future shocks get spoiled this way too. Surprise appearences by long gone characters deaths of characters. It's rare but extremely annoying.

So I plead with you STOP REVEALING EVERYTHING! Maybe I'm overreacting but it really is easily dealt with, just a little restraint.

And more violence.

It was going fine and the that fecker had to screw it up again! Okay so maybe Tor cyan wasn't that bad but it seems to have skipped a few parts in one go.

I forgave the mysterious robot eye's appearence post mercy heights but now he's gone back to his old tricks!

On the plus side 13 is dynamite just the right pace. I guess I should see the end of rogue before judging John...

Also where are my black and white reprints? Tharg said it was " a good idea " and then left it! There have been even more books of late. I say cheap nostalgic giants now!

Does anyone else think there are too many revamps of old stories in 2k? I love strontium dog, but maybe theres something to be said for fresh ideas. 13 is a good example like it or hate it it's certainly original.

Another thing I find a bit off is allowing newer writers to take over writing for an old series. I kind of feel that it " belongs " to the original writer. If its exceptional maybe, if its Dan Abnett ( AGAIN ) then no.

This may seem a bit random but it just occured to me.... whatever happened to the Dehli monkeyman? When first I heard of him I didnt believe it but shortly afterwards I heard news reports about his rampage across rooftops in Dehli.

Does anyone know what happened to the rampaging man-monkey? Has he killed again? Is he still at large? Also are there any websites dedicated to him? I MUST KNOW!!

Being possesed of an analytical mind I often find myself wondering how the scripts for certain stories are written. The few scripts that are online have proved helpful but I would appreciate it if more could be uploaded. A new script every month would be great and these could be from any story old or new.

Also I'm curious as to how someone would get their own stuff on the site, are there any special requirements?

Of late I have noticed a sharp decline in the quality of future shocks. They have a tendency to repeat storylines and endings which have seen print before. While reading the latest copy of 2000 AD's sister publication the Judge Dredd megazine I noticed a reference to " the testing ground for new writers " that 2000 AD supposedly offers.

I put it to you then Tharg that the recurring themes which have proved to the detriment of your publication can be attributed to the repeated usage of the same small group of writers used in the production of scripts.

With many eager fans only to keen to see their work in publication for no fee whatsoever it seems unusual to me that you have not made use of them. Granted their offerings may not be as tightly scripted as the work of the professionals but I am sure my fellow readers are willing to tolerate this, if only to reassure ourselves of the fact that we too have a chance at seeing our names in print in your sterling publication.

With 2000AD currently enjoying greater success than ever before maybe there would be a market for large collections of stories from its past.

100 page black and white graphic novels with stuff like nemesis, zenith etc. along the lines of Marvels essential collections.

This was already mentioned before but maybe the recent reprints in the megazine have negated this possibility.

What does everyone else think?
