Saw it tonight, (not my idea)...

Not very good, Roger Avary wrote the script - God knows what his contribution to Pulp Fiction was, but the writing on this was terrible...

The visuals are quite good, but it does feel like a bunch of cutscenes edited together.

The animated barbed wire at the end made me wish for a Rogue Trooper movie.

Yeah, I thought that too.

Does that mean we can expect Davros on a basketball court in a future ep?

It seems like there's a bit of an A/B team thing going on with the effects, the werewolf was excellent for a BBC TV series.

From the DW Confidential it looks like they went to a lot of effort to composite the wolf into the background, and I don't think all the episodes have the same amount of care spent on them.

I can understand that, if you had a really ropey werewolf it would have killed the episode, whereas the next one is more about SJ and K-9 and can get away with more.

If RTD has shoehorned in a Prince Albert gag, I give up...

I'm just wondering if there's going to be a Bucks Fizz homage, with chainmail skirts being whipped off with a chainsaw...

I read it more as Blackblood... ssss

AFAIK I don't think the name of the Sino-cit leader has ever been mentioned.

There was a mention of Sanganegra (sp?) or something like that in a recent story with a protest outside their embassy.

Well, I've finished it now... so my thoughts.

Generally pretty good, I think any game coming out at the tail-end of a console's life is going to have a tougher time of it than if it had come out earlier.

The AI seemed fine, and the actual gameplay mechanics offered more variety than say GRAW on the 360 which comes from a larger developer.

I could have done with it being longer, maybe with some more mini-bosses. The ground vehicles were pretty static, and it would have been great to have a larger vehicle as a mini-level (shadow of the colossus-style).

The train was OK, but I think it would have been better to have had Rogue move from one end to another rather than just limited to the gun carriage.

It definitely left me wanting more, just to see what they didn't manage to get in there - bio-wire, the Gasbah, Dreamweavers etc.

OK,

thanks for the tips, guys.

I'd tried launching a sammy at the heavy norts, so I assumed they were indestructible, I'll give them a few blasts with the shotgun...

Cheers

OK, so I'm what I reckon is the last level with the TG in the middle and what appears to be the entire Nort Army raining down on me.

Any tips?

I've set up Gunnar to distract the missile launching Heavy Norts and managed to destroy two of the generators and extended the bridge for a third, but I'm getting hammered by a combination of the Sun Legions and the guys surrounding the TG.

The Holo-Decoy doesn't really seem to last long enough to distract them and I only have the pistol, otherwise I tend to get hammered with missiles from the Heavy Norts. (I'm assuming there is no way to kill those, there's no kill-move and you only seem to be able to use the cannons to destroy them)

Cheers

The only reason I can think of for the absence of the logo is that Eidos or Rebellion think that Tooth readers will buy it anyway, and that any mention of the comic might put off the rest of the target market, as being too 'kiddy'

I'm really dying for some Labour gimp to approach me about the local elections so I can let rip.

It's depressing when you have to base your election choice on who you despise the least.

That would be great, have Rogue as a scary Collina-style Ref with Bagman handing out a Red Card...

They did include the Walter stories in 01 though, so they have included non-Dredd stories already.
