There have been a flurry of Dredd Heads posted to Facebook recently, originally spurred on by Steven Austin, I believe. Here's another from me.

The vibe I get from this is Trevor Hairsine circa Wilderlands. That's meant as a compliment!

So following my original post of the Dredd profile on my FB page, Brian Bolland stopped by and tweaked my original image leaving this on my wall with the message, "I think he needs a fatter lip".

At one LSCC talk, Bolland said that Dredd's lip should protrude further than his chin. I prefer it the other way round but who am I to argue with one of the best Dredd artists ever?

I'm using Procreate on an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil -- easily the nicest digital drawing experience I've found so far.

(Also working analogue... I'll do a Dredd head in markers shortly.)
