Zenith art is particularly difficult to value. Other Steve Yeowell pages aren't that valuable but I can't remember seeing a Zenith on sale before. I would have been keener on it myself but I've just bought two expensive pages and it didn't feature Zenith himself.

That's the thing that's shocked me - it reached that price with no Zenith! As you say though, the few that are available rarely surface and Steve is keeping hold of the rest!

Greg M.

It was me that won it - as Wake says, I've never seen a page from Zenith come up before and I was pretty determined to have it. The lack of Zenith wasn't actually that big a deal for me - Peter St. John ends up becoming the main character of the series anyway, and this page is the first time we see his truly sinister side emerge. Besides, who can resist a page in which Thatcher orders Ted Heath's murder?

Congrats on your purchase Greg, it's a great St. John scene as you note.
If my pockets were deeper (or bottomless chasms, as may have been required) I'd have had a pop at it.

Needs must and all that so I'm trimming my collection down a bit. Need the readies... Anyhow, feel free to pop over to The Bay to check out:

A Judge Anderson Helios page by David Roach

A (with a little tear in the eye) Shakara Avenger page by Henry Flint

I may list a few more pages soon - I'll let you all know if I do.

Welcome to capitalism.
This is not as bleak as you may think. The alternative is many thousands of us queuing for hours, in the snow (regardless of the weather) for old used torn-out pages of Hot-Shot Hamish.

They will struggle to sell it at that price while forbiddenplanet.com still have stock

Just thought I would pop a link to my 13 (unlucky for some) listings on ebay - early progs including
2000 AD Prog 200, to Prog 205, (1981 / IPC / OVERALL GOOD CONDITION) - making up the full poster.

Spine's cracked and there's a wee bit of yellowing.
