just a quick note wishing you all a Merry Christmas/ Xmas/Holiday/whatever.

take it easy, don't let anyone get you down and enjoy it.
if you hate Christmas etc then it'll be over before you know it.

A few more minutes then a second weekend, until Thursday.  Shall probably contribute more to this forum than during a normal work week, to be honest!

They let us out at 2pm at work today! Off until 2nd or 3rd of January. Nice.

On my 4th set of in-laws today, and I haven't murdered any 9f them. I expect to receive a medal before the day is out.

I'm off with my dad and his wife to visit her daughter and family. Last few Christmases I've avoided that.  I get on okay with them, and usually had a nice enough time in the past but I'm not really close to the Step family, so felt more comfortable doing my own thing at home.

I was going to do that again today, but then my dad invited me, and I thought "it's Christmas. Why not." It will be nice to spend more time with my Dad on Christmas Day, and they're nice enough people.
