My Brother is  curating an exhibition on Charley's War running from the beginning to the middle of November. If you are in the South West and interested in 70s/80s British comics, please come along.

The Legendary Pat Mills will be presenting a talk on the 4th of November

Good luck to your brother and the organisers with this, NSFTM. I bought at ticket to see Pat Mills talk about Charley's War at the Cartoon Museum in London and it was cancelled – due to lack of interest! Seemed to be a lack of interest on this board as well when I mentioned it a few weeks ago.

I would suggest the organisers promote the hell out of it.

NSFTM

I hope its successful for him to , he's a massive fan of charleys war and hopefully his passion for it will rub off on others around him and (hopefully) his students.

any sort of sharing word of mouth you lot could do would be excellent.. he will have some more promotional material available soon which i'll post on here and couple of other places

if it encourages anyone to attend , its my understanding that the event and the talk is free

Unfortunately, the website promoting the exhibition doesn't say anything about Pat Mills giving a talk.

I've already mentioned this to my Brother. A separate event is being set up for Pats talk, i don't' know why  he has set it up this way.

if you want to confirm it  (or try and get free wine and nibbles :) )

you can contact my him via his facility page

Dukester,
Yes - the box office is open right up to the start of the event. There'll be wine and nibbles from 6.
See you there!
