Just looking at the Neil Roberts Dredd/Mummy cover prelims - I'm thinking I prefer them to the actual cover!
A bit of a Brendan McCarthy feel to them.
Is it too much too ask that Neil gets a crack at some interior art? (Assuming it's something Neil wants of course!)

Kudos to Pete for this awesome blog

Neil did the art for:

Time Twisters
Chrono-Cabbies 1 episode (Prog 1678) 5 pages
Script: Alec Worley, Artist: Neil Roberts, Letters: Annie Parkhouse

back in the day, and he's also had sequential work in several strips for FQP and most recently:

But, yeah- I'd love to see Neil do some interiors again. His inks are lovely.

I absolutely LOVE this weeks' Prog cover by Luke Preece. A contender for Cover of the Year for this Squaxx!

See hoe he made it here, complete with a natty little film: http://2000ad.com/post/2266

It's back!!! Hooray! Aaaand, I managed to talk about Dredd being on a fishing trip and the cover being this, without mentioning Brokeback Mountain once!:

Potential puns were going to be the not so subtle "Careful Maul, he'll get a broke back, mounting him like that", the classic "I just can't quit you!" and the predictable "Hedger and Gyllenhaal have let themselves go." I considered #Dreddtoo too. However, the thought of Rigellion Hotshots made me reconsider...
