A question - should I rekindle my 2000ad obsession?!

QuoteI recommend picking up the collections and doing them in a big hit.

And that doesn't necessarily mean buying them on spec - public libraries have remarkably large collections of 2000AD stuff, particularly if you're prepared to wait for an inter-library loan.

Thanks TordelBack, that's something I meant to say a little more definitively.  A good friend of mine lives MILES away and we're always recommending books to each other.  She liked Dante/Sinister Dexter SO much she now has a complete collection and is awaiting the upcoming volumes.

Libraries are criminally underused.  And at the rate *I* read, the only alternative to going bankrupt.

I'll never pass up a chance to urge people to use our fantastic public library system before they decide that nobody wants books any more and replace everything with endless internet terminals -  these are the graphic novels I've borrowed from Manchester libraries in just the last 12 months -  I think I've managed to remove all the CDs, novels and reference books (very few compared to GNs) leaving all this comicy goodness - and all for 'nowt!
