...is out and in shops. I held it in my grubby hands this very morning. Very nice it is too, and contains everything up to the most recent installment (prog 1771) as well as the black and white 'What if?' that followed it. £14.99 on the high street, cheaper if ordered from the digital realm.

I need to nab this pronto.

I've blown a bit hot and cold with the previous releases of the new Stront stuff - no reflection on the quality of it, mind you - it's just been a case of me reading it and thinking 'it seemed much cooler when I was a kid'.

But th etime's definitely right for me to go back and re-read the whole lot in earnest.

I bought my copy for only £10.49 from Amazon which is a bargain in my opinion. Started reading it earlier today and i have to say its been really entertaining thus far. Ezquerra's artwork is something else!

I don;t know about that. The Feral in this story is meant to be a middle-aged, washed-up has-been, not the young athletic angry teenager from the previous stories. He's let himself go, and I think Ezquerra captures this pretty well.

Jimmy Baker's Assistant

I got this from Santa (well Steve, on Santa's behalf) and jolly good it is too.

Usually I would prefer dead comic characters to stay dead, but the killing off of Johnny Alpha was so astonishingly stupid that I am glad it has finally been undone.

Wagner's been building up to this with his "missing adventures", yet I've found them pretty lightweight, wheares Life & Death is the real deal. Fantastic Ezquerra art, amazing script and wonderful characters. Love the cliffhanger, can't wait for volume 2 (where I believe the real Durham Red comes back - God, I hope I'm not wrong about that!).

He can't draw Feral though, can he?

Sorry for not getting back Credo; only just saw this.

I have to go with Richard on this one, to me it wasn't too much of a problem. But then again i am quite new to the whole SD world so that could be a factor!
