He should come with Cutie; she could be just part of his belt.

It's a fantastic picture, so big is better!

In the original format, no resizing

When you say 'no resizing', do you mean the book is basically the same height & width as an old school prog?

Other Reviews / Re: Rogue Trooper: IDW #3

I'm pleased to see that IDW have the collected Rogue coming out in September.

At 104 pages, though, it can only be four issues worth of material, which fits with the feeling that Rogue is out the door after issue four.

I wonder if this will curtail any interest IDW has in developing original stories for other 2000AD characters.  The Anderson line is obviously a safer bet, given the Dredd line seems successful, but it'll be interesting to see what they do next.

I'm pleased to see we're getting the collected Rogue Trooper - though as someone else pointed out, it's virtually inevitable with IDW!

Rogue Trooper

Nu-Earth, just another planet ravaged by a galaxy-wide war, its atmosphere poisoned by chemical weapons. Created to fight in such conditions were the G.I.s - genetically engineered infantrymen. But now only one remains, the man known as... Rogue Trooper. Join noted author Brian Ruckley and artist Alberto Ponticelli in this all-new story.

Paperback, 104 pages, IDW Publishing, 16th September 2014

Anderson is one of the worst punning offenders, I'd say.

We are all guilty!

I find that if I resize pictures to 750 pixels wide, they seem to fit the screen comfortably for everyone.

IDW Judge Dredd Volume 5

Dredd's most vicious and unstoppable enemies - the Dark Judges - are clawing their way into Mega-City One, determined to transform it into a new city of the dead. But the only thing more horrifying than the Dark Judges' onslaught are drastic measures the Justice Department is willing to take to repel them!

Paperback, 104 pages, IDW Publishing, 23rd September 2014)

Are the flashbacks in Trifecta tied back to a tea-and-biscuits meeting as a nod to Proust and his madeleines?  Or is it something from the George Smiley stories?

... a bust in a crumbling museum abandoned after Chaos Day.

"Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."

Look at the angles of the lines that surround that circle ;)
My money says this is going to be a Lawmaster replica.

Yes, I thought it looked like the Cyclops laser but knowing they wouldn't be building a full scale replica, I thought "It can't be!"  I'd forgotten they have a "Scaled Replicas" page ready to go at their webshop.

...Roffman's artificial sphincter.

Well that's my band name sorted.

Just 'Artificial Sphincter' would be good enough!

PR have sent out another teaser e-mail.  The second picture is clearly an eagle (shoulder pad?). The first one (circles) had me stumped for a bit, but I now realise that PR are telling us they're selling replicas of Roffman's artificial sphincter.  I don't know if I want my costume to go that far....
