Table in work mostly has my phone, pc and stacks of notes on the products and different OS's I support, on which I've drawn loads of robots and chicks with big guns.
Table here at home:
my pc
Scanner, printer
dsl modem with annoying cables that get in the way of stuff
two progs
about 30 DVDs (I need to tidy)
various pens and highlighters (which I never use)
4 days of old newspapers  (Irish Times)
house phone/mobile
tv/dvd
a hair drier
shedloads of cds (again, I need to tidy)
and a mess of pointless peripherals and AV cables from ages back.
Oooh, I just found a book on origami. groovy.

I'm hazy, but I think it was all a kite put out by bash testing to see how upset (or not) we would be if he got rid of Tharg.

"humans will be subdued & zombiefied by the supreme chilling nature of these be-hatted robot monkeys. ah to think that it should come the this."

Will these be-hatted robot monkeys be wearing Fez? cos that'd be like okay then.

*I'm hoping this doesn't mean the cover will just fall in half after a few reads.*

Well i (accidently) stood on one of them with my big stompy boots and twisted, and shockingly the cover was only mildy creased, with the staples still firmly stapled. an old prog would have crumbled to be honest.

Reading the epitaph post by The Spurious One, I was thinking, what songs do you want played when youre lying in the box and the good Reverend/ Father/ Comarade/ Polymorph is talking about how much of a wanker you were?

I'm thinking along the lines of:
David Bowie: Rock 'n Roll Suicide,
Jimmy Hendrix: All along the Watchtower,
Pink Floyd: Time and the Great Gig in the Sky,
Cliched maybe, but funerals are like weddings, you dont have to worry about good taste, everyone thinks either "Hey, its his wedding, leave him alone" or "At least we never have to think about the miserable bastard after this?"
Smashing Pumpkins: SilverFuck.

as I'm a fussy bastard, the only albums allowed at the wake are:
4 - Led Zeppelin,
Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables - Dead Kennedys,
Melancholy... and Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins,
Any Motorhead best of, as long as it has Ace of Spades, Louie Louie and Orgasmatron.

From the Billy Connely Biog (written by his wife) "Billy" :

Billy has already made me promise to put "Jesus
Christ, is that the time already?" on his gravestone. "I'm not going to be there anyway." he says, "I want to be scattered all over loch lomond." The only other gravestone inscription he'd settle for is for tiny writing in te middle of a huge stone. The writing should be so small that people would have to get up really close to read:

"You're standing on my balls."
