Just finished this awesome strip, but has anyone noticed how much the character Judas Harrowman (I think that was the characters surname anyway) looks like Julian Sands? I mean he doesn't just look like the actor, they have clearly used his image for the strip. I wonder if they based Durham Red on anybody?
Not sure about Red, but Mark Harrison used actors as ref a fair bit back then.
Isn't Peter Cushing one of the characters in the Durham Red series?
Also Glimmer Rats has Bruce Willis and Jean Reno from what I remember.
The resemblance is greater in some places than others,, but wasn't the appearance of that version of Durham Red based on Angelina Jolie?

As well as starring as the Rev. Theophilius Forrest in Defoe! I think there might even be a third Cushing prog cameo that escapes me just now...
