It's when people shake the machine if it doesn't work, or if they want a free drink. The machine tips over, falls on the person and it all goes downhill from then.

The enzymes in their stomach don't leave methane. Australian farmers have started feeding their sheep the enzymes to try and keep down the levels of methane (something like 60% of all gas emissions in Oz are caused by farting sheep).

Stallone first starred in a porn movie.

Jack Nicholson was 37 when he found out that the woman he thought was his sister was actually his mother.

Dr Seuss wrote "Green Eggs and Ham" when his editor challenged him to write a book using less than 50 different words.

Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel recieved next to nothing for inventing Superman, due to small print in the contract.

Mickey Mouse is called Topolino in Italy.

Jim Morrison of The Doors was the first rock star to be arrested on-stage.

Insane Muslim terrorists, insane American terrorists, what the hell's the difference? Just because Andy's put in a Nazi American doesn't mean he thinks all Americans are Nazis. Looking at Snow's opening dialogue about the Quran, I don't think he's likely to be going to shoehorn an entire country into one stereotype.
Anyway, shouldn't we also have "Darkie's Mob - racist anti-Japanese crap", "Asylum - racist anti-Christian crap" or "Rogue Trooper - racist anti-German crap" posts as well?

Help! / Re: 2000ad newbie needs advice......

For Dredd I'd advise starting with something like The Apocalypse War, the various Judge Death stories and anything but the movie.
The backstory to Nikolai Dante can be found on simonfraser.net (site of the usual Dante artist).
Caballistics Inc is brand new, so there's nothing to read up there.
