War Of The Worlds. Q for the eldsters

Reading The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vol 2 has reminded me of another War Of The Worlds strip, which ran in the Dr Who comic in the early Eighties, I think. Does anyone remember who drew it and who adapted it? And was it any good? I seem to remember enjoying it, but not as much as the Gibbon's-drawn Iron Legion strip.

Was a reprint from the sixties - one of a range of comic adaptations of classic novels - whether it was originally by Marvel or Gold Key or Dell or whoever i don't know. Was it Gil Kane on the art? Seem to remember it was kind of similar.

yeah i remember the strip cant remember all the details but yes it was a good strip
