Having not seen this for almost 30 years I was surprised how good it was for a children?s TV programme with loads of clever stuff thrown in for the adults e.g. aliens set up home in suburban Berkshire and argue about who'll be the breadwinner.

Has anyone else seen it? What d'ya reckon?

Thought I'd get the first post in as i havent for a loooooooooooong time.  Only read Cabs so i'll say

1:  Cover is utterly Boo Cook.  Very nice but wonder if maybe he should change his colouring a little.

2:  Cabs. ooooooooooooooooooooo, so Slater is alive eh boys!

Are you talking about the "women run the future" show written up in a recent Megazine?  If so; Fulvia looks like a bit of alright in the website I found. And I loved the futuristic egg-carton factory. http://www.cylon.org/images/tv/starmaidens_06.jpg">

Blimey what was the budget of that show? 10p!

The budget wasn't that big but there compared to The Tomorrow People it looks quite flash.

Check out the space ships. They must have blown the budget there as on screen they look better than most of today's TV Sci-Fi, well maybe!

If only they made that second series.

I remember the music being really shit and 'Blake' out of 'Blake's Seven' and another bloke sitting in the back of a car while a box that they attached to the dashboard drove it for them.

Hang on- memory flash- the first 'people' they meet after arriving on earth are cows and 'Blake' tries eating some grass because the cows are doing it.

I think I only ever saw the first episode, come to think of it.  It wasn't very good, and looking back, it resembled some BDSM fetishist's wet dream...
Pffft...
