Round Eight.
Progs 351 - 400
We move on, and the voting continues at the more leisurely pace of a round every couple of days. Not to difficult a round this time as by my reckoning there aren?t that many stand out covers in this batch. Don?t get me wrong there?s some good covers but those standout, take your breath away and get your thrill receptors buzzing covers are in a minority. Although the few great covers will still force you to go through the pain of choosing just the one.
I?m not in any way trying to influence the voting but one of my all time fave covers appears in this section, and its not one that I think many would get right if asked to have a guess. When this round is over I may let you know what it is as I don?t expect it to be in the running.

Happy voting and hopefully by the nest round I?ll be able to bring you news of that prize I?ve been on about.

If you don?t want people ridiculing your choice of cover, any votes can be sent directly to me and don?t have to appear on the message board.

Remember it will only be to late to get involved once the last round has been voted on, but do you really want to have to wade through over 1330 covers in one go?
You don?t need to be a lifetime 2000AD reader, we?re not voting for the cover of your favourite Prog, but the Greatest Cover Ever. If by looking at the covers on this site is the first time that you?ve ever seen that particular piece of art, it matters not. Go through the Rounds, peruse the 50 covers and pick the cover that ?you? think is the best in that group.
For one lucky voter who takes part in every round there will be a prize, ooohhh!
This will be a one off prize and something that no other 2000AD reader will have and should take pride of place in any fans home, intrigued? Look out for details coming soon and if that doesn?t get reluctant voters taking part, well nothing will.

The links to the previous rounds are below, so get voting.

Logan, the link didn't work for me :-(

Hmmm dare I say it, there really isn't one that stands out to me, well perhaps there is one... and that's Prog "360".

and 399 was rather cool too.

How do you link images from the cover section, what is the url for this?

I take it you're referring to the 80's pop duo?

Logan ain't wrong about the choice of almost great covers, but no stand-outs. This round is tough.

There are several I could pick...
Cam Kennedy mimicking McMahon's Slaine style, and later with a couple of nice Rogue's. Ezquerra with some dramatic Stronty stuff. Dredd & Mean. City of the Damned. Too many. Ack!

I'm going to cop out and plump for the one that still makes me laugh.
