Competition rejects

Calling all artists who entered this competition who didn't win! The competition results have been decided, so lets see the rejected enteries? I shall start the ball rolling.. with my entry Verruckt! Now I am not one to make excuses, but I only have a few issues of 2000 A.D, and no little about the history of Judge Dredd and all the supporting characters throughout the years! So if my entry is similar to any other existing ones  - this is pure coincidence!
Like to hear your comments though people?

i would post mine but i forgot to take copys of them but looking at yours no wonder i didnt win, nice drawing good solid structure and good pose and you've got perfect creases in the clothes that i somtimes have difficultys with, thumbs up from me.

I liked that:  no wonder the guy has scars, what with using hand-held thermonuclear bombs.

I could see him as some mad bomber villain.  Just a random nutjob:  he'd do well as someone trying to claim the most deaths in a single evening (life "lefty" from The Graveyard Shift).

[pedantic mode]It should be "their" blocks, not "there".  The death count is a little low for having nuked a few blocks.[/pedantic mode]

Wow, that's a good, solid design. He really looks like a fully-formed character, striking and individual without being over-the-top visuals wise.

I'd post some of my own, but my web-fu sucks harder than a hoover with no teeth giving a blowjob, so I wouldn't know how.

Well, I did say I'd post up my entry.

I didn't think there would be much [if any] chance of me winning, so I decided just to come up with something stupid (obviously, hard for me to come up with anything that wasn't genius, but I tried), that might make a fun mega city one off villain.

Strangely my character( that I didn't submit) featured a " nasal/proboscis" theme too!

(I never fleshed it out. Please ignore plot holes)

it would've featured the main baddie guy in a darkened room, we never get to see him til the last shot. We see him in  silhouette, he appears to be in a wheelchair, maybe hints of robotics.

The most we see of him is when his server robot brings him various things that he has ordered him to steal- being MegaCity1 these things are rare flowers,(and other stuff I cant think of right now!) We see a close up of him smelling the flower-still in darkness , all we see is his nose

To cut it short Dredd tracks him down( he just happens to be on rare flower theft duty that day)

On entering the darkened room he'd have a bit of a scrap with the robot before blowing it away. He turns on the lights and Drokk! the baddie is a mess of crude robotics, bareley human... except for his nose.

Just when its all wrapped up the baddy makes a move which results in Dredd punching him in the face, destroying his nose and his last vestige of being human
