How do you post an image?

Okay, 'Optional Link URL' is a nice and easy one. But what exactly goes in the 'Optional Image URL' box? What does one look like, and where do you find them? Do you have to have these images on your own webpage, or can you just grab any old image floating around on the InterWeb? It's all a bit confusing for me.

you can have any pic that is on the net.

Any old image that's floating around (for the most part).  Right click on it, select properties and select the URL listed.  Bingo.

Failing that, open an account at Photobucket.com.  You can put whatever pictures you like up and they come with ready supplied hotlinks and wotnot.  Even I can work it.
