Fair enough, ursine academic!

We're all warm and fuzzy and happy on this thread, and I'm content to stay that way.

You're not fooling anyone, you malignant marine-dwelling monarch.
We're just waiting for the axe to fall.
Or the transexual lightning.
Or a photo of you doing something rude and naughty to Judge Death.

I'm watching you.

House of Usher

Congratulations, Johnny Eyebrows/Matt + Sara.

Charlotte's birth has been a favourite topic of conversation between me and Deborah all this weekend in the House of Usher. We raise a glass to the Timson household in celebration. I'll confess: we're both sloshed.

We were most impressed to see that you got Morrissey to hold the baby for a posed photo. Did you get him to sign it as well?

The close-up gore pic was fantastic too. Talk about your actual art. It was like something out of a Benetton ad, shot with a SLR camera.

You must be over the moon!

Love to you, Sara and Charlotte.

We'll be talking about this for months to come!!!

STRIKE !!!

Dunk!

Belated congrats.

V-cute kid.

Lovely name.

Hope all's well.

Tulkas.

Usher;  Get Morrisey to sign the baby!!!  Are you crazy man.

JEB - I'd agree with Bou and her parenting guidelines - difficult to do (although they sound easy) - but they work.  I'd add that it takes 4 days to get the young-uns out of bad habbits, but only 1 instance to start one - so bee patient.  Oh, consistency is important too...and a good bedtime routine (when the baby is old enough - you can forget this for 6 months though).

Oddboy

Prof Bear - the only thing I've got to complain about your message was the terminology:

"todger"?  Surely that should be spadger, shouldn?t it?
Better set your phaser to stun.

House of Usher

"Nobody under 70 says spadger".

(or something.)
STRIKE !!!

Queen Firey-Bou

exepting our Jebby....

spadger, i ask you !

Matt Timson

Pah!  Without mine *mighty* spadger, there would be no baby at all!

Spadger.  You know it makes sense.

:)
Pffft...

WoD

*Spadger* souns too much like something Delia might use...*here's a lovely example of a brass spadger I picked up at my local cookware store.  Now hold it firmly while giving the eggs a good stiff flick.*

longmanshort

mine *mighty* spadger

Nah, it's just the way you walk ;oP

Queen Firey-Bou

i can see the spam titles of tomorrow ;

"mighty spad*er problems ? Viag$a made mine stiff enought to flick delias eggs"
"pottery? need eggs flicking?"
"teen delia flicks dogs mighty sp***"
"make your eggs scream with this flicker"
"Your spadger loan is approved"

'mine mighty spadger'

He's talking like a character out of The Mighty Thor now.  He's just strutting about because he can prove he's not a virgin anymore.  Doesn't give a rat's whisker that he's deprived us all of a rich vein of schoolboy humour, does he?
Lousy breeder.
