A clarification

Hi mods, was wondering why I can post in just about all topics EXCEPT those to review the megazine and progs??  I had a wee squint at the rules and stuff, but can only find a reference to a 'period of time' having to pass before being fully integrated into the community.  How long is that then?  I've been on here for AAAAAAAAGES, I just don't post that much.  Is it also post count dependant?  Sorry if this is a stupid question, and any answer is appreciated.
