Is this the G Rennie story called 'Judgement' thats been talked about a bit around here?

The cover tagline seems to suggest so.

*How* fucking short is Dredd's right arm in that picture?! And look at that hand! Has Ranson been using photo ref of Beadle for this cover or something?

I, Cosh

Wasn't that slated for the Megazine though? Not that that means anything I suppose.
We never really die.

Art

Arthur Ranson, I believe?

It's still pretty terrible.

Buttonman

Beadle only has a small hand, not arm. This leads to his great line 'On one hand my penis is quite small on the other hand it's fuckin' enormous!'.

Tharg said Origins would be missing for "a couple of weeks". Lies make baby Jesus cry.

Don't ever knock Arthur Ranson! The man is a genius!
1522's cover is a beaut too!

The Adventurer

I think the problem with the Ranson cover is that the shading is way way way too dark for that background. Dredd's arms appear to shrink as the black shading melds in with the black background

THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK

dweezil2

I personally can't see a problem with the perspective. Itjust looks like Dredd's pulling his right arm back slightly.

TordelBack

If Ranson has a problem as a Dreddworld artist, it's that he tries too hard to fit phot0-realistic people into grossly unrealistic costumes.  Can't help thinking that that's what someoen would look like wearing a bodysuit under all that shoulder furniture.

El Spurioso

I find it hilarious that Arthur is complaining about someone having girly arms and hands...

"Another great cover. It'd be nice to have a collection of Langley ABC covers for each warrior."

Agreed. This is one of the best covers for a while. It's a hell of a striking image and Langley's managed to keep it fairly clear and bright. It's a shame 'Beauty and the Beast' obscures part of the picture.

It's great to see the Warriors looking like machines again.

Your suggestion that there be a series of covers depicting all the Warriors is a good one.

Robin

Regarding his art, Clint Langley puts the tail in detail. :)
