It's the Barp version of the Uncanny Valley there Mike!  Amazing work.

Also, despite strenuous mental exercises, one's dirty mind is drawn to speculate on what else might be pointy.

For the sake of Ace's modesty, here's the PG version:

Still have to add Ace's animated scarf, though...

Finally got the scarf done...!

ThryllSeekyr

Woolley?

Would that be Ukko?

Dumb question.

I know it is, him, right?

Interesting approach, charictureistic,

Would that also be western, steampunk or Elizabethian apparel he's wearing?

Also like Mike Caroll's Ace garp and his large friend.

Better with clothes on though.

Bouwel

Loving the Ace Garp now he's fully dressed with his animated scarf. Good work!

And the GBH looks really dead.  Result!

ThryllSeekyr

I attempted  a Ukko in Spore.......

Before the full game was released just using the Creature Creator....

And last night with the full game using the clothing option that available at Civilisation stage...

It's actaulley standing up in all of these pictures, though the application of parts of clothing might have some poeple thinking otherwise.

Bouwel

There's a little bit of leprechaun going on around the hat area but very good!

Oh, I was really aiming for the Leprehaun theme however inaccurate it may be for Ukko.

As Spore just doesn't have anything more specific.

As for the colouring, it's difficult, as you just can't colour the diffrent part indicidually, you have a choice betwent stripey, poker dot pattarns, just are that uneven patches of colur of your choice.

Which is why it has shades of green ( from it's clothing.) and yellow ( From it's hair.) on it's face.

Then again, when your painting a vechile or building this isn't such a problem.

I don't know what the creators of Spore meant by placing such a uneven set of restrictions in this game.

About Ace Garp sans clothing.

Mike Carroll reassures us that.......

QuoteDon't worry - he's not naked. He's wearing socks).

Were you hinting about what Jim Carrey used to do on SNL. I remebr his um sock segment.

Despite some other similarities,

I thought there was touch of Steve Martin inthat image. Partically with his facial expression.

Purely a coincidence - and definitely no inspiration from or homage to Jim Carrey on SNL!

And now, rounding up the crew of the Speedo Ghost...
