Well, the D'emon D'Israeli has only gone and recorded a video tutorial showing how he renders his grot textures jkust for my blog! What a lovely guy, I'm seriously blown away and humbled! I completely missed your alert regarding the D'Israeli cover, Pete; I'm completely obsessed with it, so I'm looking forward to watching the video tutorial on its creation. I think I might have a wee art crush on D'Israeli, and that cover just looks fantastically evil and like nothing else on the magazine racks of my local Asda - which should be the point of a great 2000ad cover. I'm calling it as my vote for number one in your end of year poll already, and it might make my list of all-time favourites.
