Noteslate E-ink Sketcher

There seems to be some confusion as to this being real or not. http://www.noteslate.com/
Looks pretty good if it is real. Would an e-ink tablet be a better drawing device than an ipad or suchlike? I'm still amazed by my kindle, being able to draw onto the screen would be pretty good, even if only in one colour.
And at the price it's been quoted at I want one.

Well, right now you can't do that with an iPad at all -- the styluses (stylii?) available use a squishy capacitive tip and translate surface area contact into a pressure judgement. There's a fascinating patent granted to Apple that claims to recognize pressure and tilt. Someone combines that with a drawing app that outputs layered files that Photoshop or Manga Studio can open and you can expect a large hole in Wacom's sales...
