it's because of that Morrison/Millar review. Is Mills really a cut above other comics writers, looks-wise? Are the American creators really a bunch of fat slobs with dirty Spiderman tshirts? The only American creator I've seen is John Byrne, who may not be representative

indeed! So far John Wagner's smouldering dark looks are preferred to Mills and his 'flowing locks', JW has 31% of the vote, Mills 20 something.

Out of a staggering 42 voters, 24% prefer John Wagner's smouldering dark looks. That's the largest single vote.

But you split the Mills vote, introducing a statistical bias.  22 expressed some admiration for Pat Mills looks compared to 10 for John Wagner.  Just as well you didn't add the option for a three-way, it would have got all very complicated.

I was lucky enough to meet Pat Mills a couple of times in the last year or two and he's definitely grown out of that phase :)
