I think there is a original to this one I'm thought I saw it over a week ago linked from another forum.

I'm looking for this now.........

Sometimes I forget how surreal and funky Sesame Street was:

I'm sure there must be a thread with all the 2000ad telly ads on it, but having had a good look and being unable to find one, this'll have to do for now.

A version of this has definitely been posted on here before but this is the first time I've seen this full length 2000ad advert since 1994.

Love DT-fuelled hellish nightmares?  Not a fan of sleeping soundly?  Then I've got just the thing for you.

You're right, Jayzus; that's fucked up. I'm so glad my wee brother didn't see that video anytime between the ages of five and fifteen, because re-enactments of it would have haunted every waking minute of my own childhood.

This seems like a good place to put this.

R.E.M in the 80's playing paint it black. I dunno what he's on but I know I want some.

Maybe he figured that Germans wouldn't notice if he messed up/just didn't sing the words.

Stipe was obscuring his own lyrics by omitting consonants around that time too (because he was "shy"). Fuckin' rocks, though, dunnit? It's interesting to see them shorn of the layers of bongo/mandolin pretension which characterised the second half of their career, and even when Buck's doing Eddie Van Halen bottom string hammer-ons and Thurston Moore guitar shredding he still sounds like himself.

Haven't been a huge fan of REM for a long time, but that is good, despite his weird take on the concept of singing.  Very much like Joy Division till he forgets the lyrics, then a bit PiL.

You really have to watch these three videos side by side at the same time for their fully allotted time ranging from 5  to 10 hours to let it all sink in.

Rather funny that American blues based rock forms the track-bed for a Russian Military song.

Please tell me you didn't do that.

Now I know what the Russian for parachute is. Were Vladimir Putin's hardest men dressed in their signature stripey shirts and saucy baby blue berets by Jean Paul Gautier?
