I've just written a new chat room. As well as plain text, you can use the /me command from IRC.

Might be a bit more popular once you've put a big link on the main home page (as I'm sure you're doing right now).

Like the old chatroom, it doesn't seem to work with Windows NT and Netscape. IT blokes won't change the NT settings or install IE.

why's it keep flickering? 'tis scutting me puter, and I can't afford another one. Does this mean my windows workbench is incompattible?

It flicks because it reloads the centre frame when there's a new message.

I'm not sure about whether I can stop IE clicking on every reload. Also, I could set it to check for messages every 10 seconds instead of every 5
