A fine prog, just glad those perps never turned the Liquefier on Dredd  ;)

Ha, point!

SO glad I ruled this out for my 8 year old when Grandad bought him the first issue.
You are doing a grand job, love your battle damage and there is no way in hell I would have been able to help the lad get this together!

I really enjoyed this weeks episode and thought it was much stronger than the first part. I think that (lengthy) scene with the Doctor attempting to persuade both sides to avoid war might just be the best 12th Doctor scene so far, and perhaps the best use of the Time War so far. I really got a sense that the Doctor is scarred from his experiences fighting in the Time War; just because he now knows his planet survived doesn't erase those war time experiences.

I couldn't agree more Tim.
The Doctor resolves the crisis not with a sonic magic wand or timey wimey inconsistency but with wisdom and passion born of experience and suffering. That's my Doctor, whichever face he is wearing. Like a benevolent Loki he tricks the humans he cares for into making better choices.

Stoked for this, first game I've ever pre-ordered.
Launches on the wife's birthday though.  :|

Holding on for black Friday or cyber Monday to get a new graphics card.

I think they should announce that it is going to be late every week, then when it arrives on Saturday it is even better than normal!
Sorry for you though Judge Burns.

True Skyrim challenge.
1. Put in a lot of time then leave the game for a few weeks.
2. come back and remember nothing about where you are or what you were doing.
3. get frustrated and build a new character.
4. go to 1.

Amen and amen.
Especially with the instant/random start mods.

I much prefer a random start, on max difficulty, where with barely any equipment or skills you have to sneak, steal and runaway from every fight until you have levelled up a bit. The initial survival thrill is the best re-playable bit of the game for me.

It's the prog review thread in the spoilers section. If you don't want to know details of what is in this prog, don't read this thread, Shirley?

Cover: Finny seems to have picked up an SA80 from somewhere? Much prefer these gloves to when he is drawn with red surgical gloves. Love the reds across the cover image pulling it together. Is that Moses' jacket flapping in the wind?

Dredd: Michael Carroll you genius. So good. Had me laughing at the payoff.

Defoe: Hic. Rich people are BAD and EVIL oppressing the INNOCENT and RIGHTEOUS poor.  Subtle as ever. I hope one day we get Defoe vs the "Good" angels who have been manipulating everyone.

Brass Sun: Top stuff. A whole page, 6 panels, of talking heads but the story carries it.

Sin Dex: Looks like the boys blasted Moses back to his own dimension, but without a body is he really dead? Lets funting hope so and the story can move on. Is this reality wide memory wipe a reboot device, or are they dead or in another wrong dimension? Who knows, but this has been an awesome run and a fitting end (I hope) to the whole Moses saga. I would hope for some more short-run hits and downlode puns!

Bad Company: "Let's skip to the good bit" as the Spugs are saying these days. Finally the nasty bastards are remembering who they are and Danny is remembering his conscience. No idea how it ties in with half of them being dead/andor Krool heart but looking forward to finding out.

Great prog made all the better by the fact I was expecting it on Monday!

That is encouraging, I might give it a try then. I gave up on the modern Asterix having read all of the old one's a million times. In fact my Dad only had half of them in English so I spent years working out what was going on and gazing lovingly at the art in the French versions.

That's got to be the gold standard for comics right there: the artwork and visual storytelling being enough to hook a foreign child who can't read the words into re-reading them again and again.

Hayseed Dixies last night. I was worried they were going to be a 'one joke worn too thin' type of band but they were great, very entertaining!

Bellowhead farewell tour next month.  :'(
