I was wondering whether I should get cowboy bebop: the movie and need feedback from those in the know.

I havent seen the series but I've heard the film wasa decent enough intro to the show. Have any of you seen it? Is it worth getting?

This is a question which has troubled me for some time.

Since I one day hope to write for 2000AD a beard seems to be an important step on the road to becoming a top droid. Alan Moore, Andy Diggle, Alan Grant (for a bit) all bearded.

Also beards can also have a bizarre hypnotic effect on women convincing them that the bearded individual is more intelligent than they originally thought.

Police beatings, jealousy from others and possible narcolepsy represent the potential ddrawbacks. So, what are your thoughts on the matter? Have beards changed your life? What are your opinions on beards?

I knew it already but I didn't know it would happen so soon. North Korea is going to kill us all.

Today has been a very odd day. It was a day much like any other except I'd finally worked up
enough energy to walk to my nearest Easons and get the meg. I got it, I read it all at once
ruining it. Nothing unusual so far. Shortly afterwards however I was rather confused to find
that I was overcome with... feelings. Feelings of... happiness and... inner peace...

As you can imagine this was rather disconcertning for one such as I. Even now I can feel gooey
feelings of love and goodwill towards others swirling around in my gut like so many goldfish
swimming through a jug of gravy. Can anyone offer any explanation for this? Has it happened to
you? Did my Mam slip LSD in my cappuchino? Is the approach of Spring somehow robbing me of my
senses? Or is my skull full of so much unprocessed thrill-power that my brain has become pickled?

Please help me, I feel another blissfull trance coming on. The product of the last one was a
disturbingly cute picture of me in a field with flowers and a pink bunny. A PINK bunny! If I'm
not stopped now who knows what might happen?!  I think I've begun my descent into full-blown
pants on my head, madness... Please, somebody, save me!

Does anyone else find that DVD's for tv shows seem to be less fun to watch than the shows themselves?

Blew a small fortune on futurama DVD's and now they seem merely mediocre. Watching them on TV though is fine? Explanations? Commiserations?

Many of you are no doubt aware of this already but I thought I'd let you know anyway.

Plans are afoot to turn Alan Moores much-beloved V for vendetta into a film. Joel Silver
has expressed an interest in the project no doubt due to the fact that the screenplay has
been penned by (wait for it) the Wachowski brothers of Matrix fame! Hooray and hooray
again for yet another promising comic-based film!

Jarhead (still hoping against hope that the aliens vs predator film will be good)

Does anyone know what the next few will be reprinting? Also when is the next one due out?

If you plan on buying the DVD I feel obliged to tell you that the special edition is thing of beauty...

I'm hoping my government passes the battle royal act soon. Forget about super-harsh drink laws that just annoy everyone, just get the no-good hoodlums to waste one another!

Recently my life has fallen apart completely and my worst nightmares have come to pass. In this difficult time I cant cope with anything in my long-term future, such as my ideal job.

So if anyone has any suggestions just let me know. At this stage I just dont give a feck what I do so as long as it isn't too mentally taxing I'll be fine.

Sadly I wont be able to reply to any messages soon as my net time has been cut even shorter since my moniter exploded (I'm typing this on my dads PC while I'm supposed to be looking at college courses).

Remember these simple rules:

1) Jared lacks intellect.

2) Jared cannot travel far.

3) Jared is not streetwise.

4) Jared needs regular access to a toilet.

5) Jared is easily confused and tends to panic when placed under pressure.

6) Jared can live on 100 Euro a week (about 60 pounds sterling).

So if you have any good suggestions let me know. What do you do? Is it any good? etc.
