Do I really have to spell it out LMS?

The Ecard facility has been around for a few years now, but since the site makeover, the link has vanished into the depths of the new look site (it is there, http://www.2000adonline.com/?zone=news but it is hard to find).

I'm just curious to know if people know about it, use it, and if it needs updating/promoting.

I love the ECards, but I've occasionally had some of my text get cut off after a line or two.

I wish there were ten or twelve times as many cards to choose from, too.  I'd send them ten or twelve times as often.

Hmm, that's not the thing I was thinking of at all. Better change me vote.

Thought it was the newspaper type story thing. Is that still here? " gets arrested for Umpty dealing" type of thing?

That should have said *insert name* I guess I could have done <insert name>

Cool, that worked, for those that know, you'll know what I did, for those that are confused, it's not important :o)

The Judge Pal thing is still around. PErhaps the best place to look is on the index of the 2000ad.org site.

Grant, there is a maximum amount of text that you can write (although I don't recall what it is.)

If these prove to be popular (again), then the amount of text, and how to view it, will be something I will look at improving.

I've just used (as an example the DR & Quinch card)
The from line has 13-14 characters.
The to line has 12 characters.
The subject has 70 characters.
The message has 298 characters.

So, let me know how many more you might need, and I'll investigate ways to improve this (such as adding scrollbars for the main message body, or scrolling text from the to & from sections).

Sorry, I meant that I've occasionally had the system hiccup and cut off my message far too early, after about 30 or so characters.

I do love - love - LOVE the Ecards.  Then again, I really like sending Ecards.  I should send more.

Grant,
because of the way the program is built, that problem sounds very odd.
If possible, please contact me via email with the link to the card, so I can investigate the matter further. So that I can try and fix any bugs.
Cheers

House of Usher

Sceptical as always: it's just a lot more futuristic electronic gubbins, isn't it? I don't send Ecards, and I hate when I get sent one too. I prefer an email if it's from someone who wants to get in touch for the sake of it but doesn't know my postal address. My mum keeps sending me text messages with little pictures in them, which is nice, but it fills up my phone's memory really quickly. At least, I think it's that and not just the number on undeleted text messages. But that's another story...
STRIKE !!!

House of Usher

I have no idea whether my phone saves a maximum number of messages or it's capacity gets taken up quicker by bigger messages.

I have 1,158 undeleted email messages on my work email account, and apparently 228 are unread. Can't be anything important.

I just want to thank the creators at the 2000adonline site and associate comi industry. Without the team making consistant conserted efforts to bring these mythlike stories and communities I admit I would have dissolved myself in any kind of lurid and deviant porn I could get my hands on from the the moment I first found my bearings on the 'net.
