I've just borrowed a pile of 2000ADs' from prog 1078 and there are loads of fantastic dredd stories by wagner, can someone tell me which issue he returned?

The Amstor Computer

I don't have my progs to hand, but I think it was sometime in the late 800s-early 900s, wasn't it? I could easily be wrong, though...

Paul, try using the Thrillseeker (It's a neat little tool). Query "Wagner as Writer" against "Judge Dredd as Thrill".
If you then plough through and select thrills "251-300", you will find (surprisingly) he wasn't actually awaty for all that long. I suppose Prog 889 was when he came back. Although he did 8 stories in his "time away" since prog 710.

(If you do the search as indicated, you can see the exact progs)

Hope this helps.

Between Progs 700 ? 1000 there are quite a few chunks of Progs that Ennis & others were doing the writing chores on Dredd.

Ennis? main run on Dredd.
711 ? 720, 727 ? 738, 740 ? 749, 754 ? 761, 766 ? 828, 830 ? 834,  837 ? 839, 940 ? 948.

Millar did.
829, 835 ? 836, 840 ? 841, 854 ? 855, 859 ? 866 (with Morrison) 867 ? 872, 879 ? 880, 928 ? 937 (with Morrison), 968 ? 969, 1029 ? 1030.

Morrison did,
842 ? 853, 965 - 966

Alan Grant did,
762 ? 765,

McKenzie did,
873 ? 878, 881 ? 883, 886 ? 888,

John Smith did,
856 ? 858,

John Higgins did,
884 ? 885,

Dan Abnett did,
895 ? 896, 903, 967,

Chris Standley did,
897 ? 898

Pat Mills did,
950 ? 952, 960 ? 963.

So Wagner wrote the following so work out where his long walks appear:

700 - 710, 716 - 718, 721 - 726, 739, 750 - 753, 889 - 894, 899 - 902, 904 - 927, 938 - 939, 949 - 964, 970 ? 1000
Around the mid 900?s Wagner also had 2 Dredd stories appear each issue at the time the Dredd movie was out.

Rio De Fideldo

Wasn't Wagner still writing the main bulk of the Dredd stories for the Meg at this time?
