Title: Site Downtime
Post by: w3bz on 17 May, 2010, 10:45:03 AM
Argh, yes it's that time again where we kick off the crust and shift over to something new and shiny  ;)

This is likely to happen over the next couple of days. If the site's offline then it's good news as the transition's in place and it won't be much longer. Hopefully you lot won't be without your thrillpower for too long!

I'll keep you posted as and when it's going ahead!

Sorry this is probably a little off topic (well it is) but since you're hear I was wondering whether there was any news on the new online shop that Keith mentioned a while ago?

If the site's offline then it's

... a shameless attempt to crush free speech and quell the voices of legitimate dissent!

Fight the system! Can't stop the signal! Stick it to the man!

Nurse! Where are my pills?!

You mean "they have worked out how to use the current site and are comfortable with how everything works, let's change everything again and confuse the crap out of them."

I think these changes are done in the same spirit as a kid who kicks over an ant hill every week or so.  ;)

OK kids, happening from 12 today (25 minutes) - downtime lasts around 24-48 hours depending on where you are in the world / universe.

Will everyone be nipping over to the 2000adreview forum to hold off withdrawl symptoms?

Change of plan, or just a smoother transition than expected?

Good work, either way.

Cheers!

Yeah right, like they would have to go to that much trouble to get that result. A slight change to the colour scheme would work.

Hmmm, I dunno what happened but for the forst time in aaaaaages we've got spam again. Really, really mental spam too that goes - "Thoq like chicken. Leaf Lady like no chicken. Leaf Lady eat dirt. Leaf Lady eat water."

I think I want to meet this Leaf Lady.

That's the best spam I've ever seen. A cross between one of Roger's Short Story Competition entries and a drunken traveling salesman.
