For once this was pretty straight forward as Brand and Brass never really got going, a few consolation votes aside. Moses Tanenbaum had a good start but then faded away leaving two clear front runners. Of those

Howard Quartz

Pulled all the necessary strings to ensure top stop. Which is a shame as some characters might not have the overt characters but their raw fury, determination and inspirational savage nature makes them the natural greats in terms of character. Alas the correct answer for this round (ahem)

Old One Eye

Only takes the runner up spot - also ruling out a possible head to head with her son - but makes it into Round 3.
