Um, so you mean to do a comic based on dream weaver? Or some other lyrics of Martin's?

Love skyclad so I'm intrigued. The inevitable questions follow.... How many pages? colour/B&W or grayscale? And by when?  :)

Perhaps I over reacted a little. I just detest plagiarism in any form and if I'm doing it myself well that's intolerable.

I didn't realise that was your work, I see you posted it for the July comp. maybe I did see it and subconsciously it stuck in my head.

As long as we're all happy I'll keep my entry in the comp.

Thanks Neil

So it isn't often I pop over to he facebook page but for some reason I did and I wasn't best pleased to see this under my comp entry:

First let me say: AAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot the similiarity does it? I don't know where that image was lifted from and I haven't seen it before, hopefully those of you that are familiar with my scribblings will know that I don't copy other peoples ideas. I don't need to. If I were to copy prog art for some reason this is the last place I would post it. The hive mind would rumble me immediately.

I'm uncomfortable with the similarity and would be upset if anyone were to think I take other peoples ideas with out at least crediting them. I have no wish to offend anyone either.

CFM: I withdraw my comp entry.

I only came here for cake... Is there any cake?

I draw stuff. I don't write stuff. But I do draw what other people have writ. Maybe I missed it ( so many words sharky. I read comics because i don't like too many words. My reading nodes are all burnt... I digress). But a top key mega important ingredient for me in a story is that it has to be grounded in some logical reality. Doesn't matter if it's one you made up, but it has to be consistently logical and one I can relate to. When our hero jumps a 30 feet chasm to escape a baddie you've lost me irrespective of whether you have the other elements you mention

Thanks Darren. I couldn't recall what colour he was (read it in it's original run in the 80's and not since)and couldn't find a ref on google so just went with that, seemed fitting.

Loving that Neil. Looks amazing

Also love the 'Anonymous perp' idea Allied

The art comp seems a bit slow this month. Have to say I found it difficult to find dead people. Anyway, this is my effort:

Mongrol's Lara
Lara rebuilt Mongrol and was killed by the Volgans for her trouble.
