I was wondering if the experts could help me, is there an official order for the ammunition types in the Lawgiver's settings? like 1 - Standard, 2 - Armour Piercing etc?

That giant metal craft covered in multicoloured neon lights that flew out of that lightning storm and teleported two hairless apes away before rocketing loudly into the sky leaving only a giant symbol of alien origin carved into the sand could have been anything.

Battlestar Galactica did it better ;-)

Watched it last night-
Having followed many doomsday threads on it I thought it was great fun....

I thought the Klingon makeup was stunning, the only negative was their dialogue was a little muffled - needed some cleaning up in post I thought. Im also very used to watching subtitles ;-)

All the characters ( who survived!) seemed watchable -
Lt Saru basically sounded just like Red Dwarf's Kryten
and James Frain (Sarek) was possibly a liitle on autopilot...especially if you watched Gotham- although in some ways this made him perfect for the role.
Lovely visual designs, would have liked a little more ambient light in the battle scenes, but thats just me...
I did think the escape from the prison holding was a very overused idea, especially noting the clever conversation with the ships computer earlier, could have been more imaginative?..
Certainly the end of the second episode wasn't how I was expecting things to pan out so I will def be watching - regardless of peoples personal classic/JJ views, I think the show will win or loose on the writing...
8/10 ;-)

Funnily enough I found this today....
From:
http://dreddalert.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/inferno-part-37.html
MISTAKES
The years on Giant's potential grave are 2150-2178, but they cannot reflect the actual year of his birth or the time when the strip is set. Inferno must take place between Aeroball's 2050 heyday mentioned in the first part of Harlem Heroes and Giant's 2099 appearance in Judge Dredd: 'The Academy Of Law'.

Planet Replicas will be there !
Its my home town so looking forward to a con I can literally walk to - the novelty!

( Im hoping they can do some thing with/ in the i360 seeing as its quite futuristic ? )

Brighton is highly recommended for a day out, the local shops beat London for their originality, crafts and variety, the restaraunts are great, pubs even more so, and of course there is the beach and pier.
Theres also the Levels - with a great purpose built skatepark and playground.
Family members would run out of time long before they can get bored.

I would flag the trains as being unreliable sadly, so account for this in your travel plans...I think the Gatwick Express to Brighton is normally running ok though.
The venue is probably a 10 to 15 min walk down the hill from the station to the seafront .
Dave's Comics is also a very good local comic shop, with a second shop two doors up offering some cool deals on related merch, back issues, board games etc etc

See you there !

A week on and what an amazing event it was.

I picked up amazing sketches by Simon Fraser (a hero I've not met since '98), a sketch from Cam Kennedy that honestly I couldn't be happier with - I thought it was a print at first), and then a lovely pencilled piece by the uber-genius Tom Foster.

I was trying to get everyone there associated with the first year of 2000ad to sign my bound collection and I managed that by starting at Gosh the night before.

I think I achieved it but only by missing out on chatting longer to the new talent like Dani, Emma Beeby, Kek-W, Dave Kendall, Dan Cornell etc. I think it was genuinely impossible to bring something for everyone to sign - and I can see retrospectively why so many fans got Thrill Power Overload or a poster signed en-masse.

So to Rebellion, you couldn't have done better. I'd welcome a smaller 'new talent' 2000ad con as nothing could top this unless Bolland, Cliff Robinson & Ian Gibson had paraglided in mid-con. THANKS GUYS.

My GOD that Cam Kennedy sketch is just incredible.
