Sorry guys cannot commit to a date this year, as do not want to let you all down. Current workload (day job and the art side of things) is mental. Hoping to be able to get something done and added on to the 24th or sooner if possible. Gutted as been part of this for 4 years now.  :(

Help! / Re: Looking for title of graphic novel 1970/80s

Pyroxian, you could be onto something there....just done the usual Google images search and found the below panel. Now want to read The Trigan Empire myself as it looks amazing.

Defoe / Walking Dead...would obviously require some inter-dimensional time travelling shenanigans, but may give TWD a new lease of life (excuse the pun!).

Creative Common / Re: Why Don't I Enjoy Art Any More?

Andy, you should not waste a talent like yours. You are a very skillful artist, whose work I enjoy and look forward to seeing. You recent self portrait with Dredd being a highlight for me (but all of your work is fab)!
Like others have said why not look at a new challenge, or diversifying to try and re-ignite that spark.
As you know for the past 12 months plus I have been drawing sketch cards for a few companies in the US.
The pay isn't great, but the challenge of working on such a a small area (2.5" x 3.5"), as well as the sense of pride from seeing your work found around the world by collectors is fantastic.
Knowing that you can create officially licensed work, (often approved by the actors themselves) for properties such as Star Wars, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Aliens etc is a great feeling.
If you did fancy diversifying, then I would be only to happy to pass on further info and chat elsewhere about this.
Also as mentioned above you could always try a local convention. You have an amazing portfolio, where you could easily select a number of prints to sell on. You may not always make a profit, but meeting and chatting to others with similar likes, who truly appreciate and enjoy your art (and if your lucky buy it) is good fun!
I did my 1st Con (more by luck than judgement) August 2017 and have done another 5 or 6 since. I now sell prints, original art, sketch cards, greeting cards and mugs all featuring my artwork.
You don't even need to do a convention you could always sell prints online via Etsy or similar and have an extra income
Again the above keep you busy and are a challenge but it is also something different.
I have a day job, but outside of this I create art as much as I can, as I now realise that it can help to provide for my family, but mainly because I love it, and I think this has come from diversifying constantly over the past few years. Feel free to drop me a message and chat if you want in other info?

I was on right hand aisle as you walked into venue, first stall on left. I am hoping there will be quite a few guests from the comic world at Newport. Last august John Wagner and Dylan were there, along With Simon Williams and Jason Cardy, in Swansea earlier this year Patrick Goddard and David Roach were in attendance, and Dylan was there last week.
Just to jog your memory her is my stall, I was selling sketch cards, prints and canvases, along with Mugs & Greeting Cards!

Not so hasty Andy :D! Apologies for being late and the pic being a bit rushed but had to get something in (fnarr fnarr). Have had loads going on and almost thought thought I would not be able to submit but anyway I digress. So here is Joe with a little gift for you all.
And once again sorry for being a bit late  :-[

Been a bit quiet on here as of late, as had lots going on (fortunately it has all been art based which is good!).
Anyway have had enough time to catch up on the calendar and what a pleasure it has been. Amazing work by all love seeing what is new everyday.
Anyway thankfully I have also managed to find enough time to get approx. 60% of my own entry complete so should be ready for the 19th.  :D

Classifieds / Re: Any spare Misty & Scream specials?

Ordered a copy last night via my LCS as would rather the money go to them than Tesco or Smiths. They seem to have had no issues getting hold of it. Just need to wait till next Wednesday to collect.....grrr.
As an aside my 11 yesr old daughter is desperate to read this as well after I showed her the ad on Youtube so glad it does not just appeal to the older crowd.

I am happy to do an illustration or pin-up if you are happy to have me! (will give the strip work a miss due to workload issues from my side). Random examples of work available if required?

I would happily do a pin up / star scan type pic...not sure if I could commit to a full strip.
