Pyroxian's a big fiery super-guy that my brother invented for the Marvel Super-heroes RPG (the original one, you know - with stats that were measured as Good, Incredible, Unearthly etc.). I was trying to think of a name that no-one else would ever use for my Hotmail account and tried Pyroxian and it worked, so consequently I've used it as my alias for all other messageboards ever since.

>I *heart* Pipex!

Well, Telewest were darn good up until when I moved house, at which point it all went to crap - I wasn't informed that I needed to get forms signed by the landlord in order to get cable installed (wasn't at the last place), and when we got those forms back to them the next day, they still dicked about for two weeks before they'd give us an install date, which happened to be in another two weeks time.

And they changed my e-mail account without telling me...

Up to episode 6 already?! I've only just seen ep 3. Grrr - bloody Blueyonder _still_ not installed my broadband (it's been almost 4 weeks now)... Looks like I won't be able to catch up before I go out to the states next week either :(

BTW: Star Wars: Clone Wars cartoon starts tomorrow in the states, so hopefully that'll be available on the net soon :D

I believe the Roadblasters computer game came first (1987 according to MAME), but I'm not sure if it tied into the (matchbox?) toy line of the same name, which the comic strip was an adaptation of.

Yeah, but the 80s Eagle was good until it became completely dominated by toy adaptations :( Doomlord was Ace, as was House of Daemon and the Tower King.

I'm not sure, I got WD for a few years after that disc and didn't see any others being offered, but I don't think I got every issue either.

I thought Sabbat 'Blood for the Blood God' was the flexi-disc given away in White Dwarf. I've got the mp3 somewhere...

Interestingly enough, apparently there's been an amendment to US copyright law allowing the copying/archiving of computer software once the system it can run on is considered obsolete and no longer available on the market.

I think the nipples had been airbrushed out of that picture - bit too small to tell though.

Ah yes, the Barbarian poster... And there was the Vixen one with Corrinne Russel - that got a few complaints too :)

Legend of the Amazon Women was slightly dodgy too IIRC

Yes, true - probably where Your Sinclair picked it up from - I remember the issue where they gave away a free copy of Viz - cue much angry letters from parents - even more than when they gave away a copy of the uncensored 'Game Over' poster...

'Hatstand = Mad as a bucket of weasels.'

Used to be a phrase used in 'Your Sinclair' a lot too, along with Wibble...

Interesting, it's a first person view point, with you gunning down Death's Zombie hordes...
