LongLass is a big Wonder Woman fan (don't ask) and we were currently shopping in the many fine emporiums in Harrogate, when the British Heart Foundation's book shop yielded the gem of a Wonder Woman 1980 Annual.

And inside that little gem was this little diamond ...

Is that a still / illo from a cartoon? Was it aimed at viewers of that?

The Bolland one is just the inside cover of the annual. Doesn't appear to relate to any particular story though and there's no mention of a cartoon or TV show in the whole thing ...

That's a nice enough pic, but you can see why it got relegated to the contents page. She's a bit square-jawed and goofy there.

The art was probably altered by 'Bodgers', art assistants on the request of an editor.
If you look at a lot of original art, particularily stuff from the 60's-70's a lot of changes were made. Editorial/Art directorial control was very strict, and signatures and anything 'untoward' was removed.
I've got the splash from Prog 7 that Mick mcMahon did of the Statue of Justice, if you look at it on a lightboard you can see he drew in a detailed figure, which the Eds then gouached over.
wow...I even managed to turn a conversation about Bolland back to McMahon.....
