I had a great time at this event on Saturday. For those interested the latest episode of the Awesome Comics Podcast Hosted by Antony Ez Esmond, Dan Butcher and Vince Hunt features the Wimbledon Comic Art Festival. Woo, great to see it went well, David.

Thanks Bolt, the people of Wimbledon did us proud.  It was a little slow to start with, however by the afternoon the footfall increased as people took advantage of the free entry and comics workshops which were a hit with the kids. Most traders I spoke to did well. Here are some of the people who bought comics from me...

Above: Fellow Dan Dare fan Richard bought copies of Shaman Kane.

Above: The wonderful Sarah Harris also took copies of Gallo, Spectre Show and Shaman Kane off of my hands.

Above: Mark a fellow 2000AD fan and Prog 1 reader picked up all three Shaman Kane books and an original piece of V.C.'s art from the V.C.'s story by myself and Matt Sharp which featured in ZARJAZ #27.
Here is a link to my blog post which features the layouts, pencils and comments from the script writer for the V.C.'s story http://dbroughton.blogspot.co.uk/.../the-vcs-raid-on...

Above: And finally Tay, who was verry happy with her Judge Death artwork and the last copy of Martillo that I have to sell.

A great day thanks to organiser Rik Jackson here is his report on the day https://wimbledoncomicartfestival.wordpress.com/2017/11/13/wimbledons-first-comics-event-is-a-success/

Thanks DrJomster, if it is back next year I'd love to be there.  I think FREE entry comics art festivals are the way to go.  :D

Here, here.

Smaller gigs offering free entry are a great way of increasing the readership.

Need to sort my gigs for next year...

Hi Bolt, talking of gigs next year. If I can get in I'm thinking of getting a trading table at Thought bUbble next year...so hopefully we will catch up.  :D

No worries Large48, I think the organiser Rik Jackson is thinking of putting another one on sometime next year.  :D
