Hey there Squaxx- been a while since I did this, but the Bolt Vault Ebay is still running, and this week there is a 2000 AD related item-

Chris Achilleos' 'Medusa' which features his take on Anderson, PSI.

Thanks for looking, all visits appreciated.

Hey Sqauxx, who's going tomorrow?

I'll be there, along with nano-bolt (she loves being called that :)) and if anyone wants copies of Zarjaz or Dogbreath- let me know so I bring some. I've not got a table as I want to be able to enjoy the gig.

I like survival Geeks. Think the humour is a bit hit and miss at times- but I like the series overall. Keep it running Tharg!

As much as I'm enjoying the prog- and I am- I really wish that Tharg had put some extra thought into the look for the VR pages.

The font chosen wasn't the best and unfortunately Steve's 'open' artwork my not have been the best suited to those scenes. Maybe calling in PJ for those pages would have worked better? Also- remember the 3riller with the old war comics characters that Boo Cook drew? Am I right in remembering that on the flashback pages for that there was an 'aged' look to the borders? That would have suited this section in my opinion.

That being said- a superb run of progs- and after talking to Carlos over the weekend that he only finished drawing this strip 2 weeks ago It renders null and void any queries as to any issues on the art. The maestro delivered in a pinch.

Well, that was a heck of a lot of fun.

I'll be watching that again later, the action sequences look great and the animation on the chips 'talking' was something I'd not thought of that makes a lot of sense (though on a night mission they might cause a few issues :))

Superb.

Dr Feeley Good- Thought the panel was a lot of fun. Really glad that the panel joined in as much as they did- especially when John & Carlos started bantering...

For the record- we had Patrick Goddard, Ian Richardson, Staz Johnson, David Roach, Dave Taylor, John Wagner, Carlos Ezquerra, Peter Doherty and Dan Cornwell.

I thought the audience questions were good as well.

No nuggets of news, as such- apart from the number of strips that are being worked on that the artists cannot talk about- which was quite a few.

It was a really good day- As a free event there was tremendous footfall and even though sales were nowhere near what I would expect at a 'big' gig I still sol more than I thought I might.

Fingers crossed there will be another next year.

I think I need to read it again to really absorb it, but I loved it. The main strips (Dredd & SD) were a hoot and it was a great opportunity to see how a few new creatives worked. I Think Indio has come a long way since his work on the early Dogbreaths but unfortunately some of his panels really didn't work for me.

I'd love for this to be a semi-regular title, it would be a great home to some of the 'Treasury' cast and having the 2000 AD vibe I can't see a down side.

Top work Tharg!
