Hmmm- never got on with Peel myself- he always seemed a little 'too' willing to experiment (Much like Lard over on 6music) but I do like to listen to Lauren Laverne (10am on 6) and I make a point to catch up with the Electric Ladyland show (also on 6) and the various new music shows are normally good there too.

It's a good job the show is not just about Dredd, then.

Yup- the whole thing drops on Sky on the 18th Jan apparently. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Poorly thought out ramble-

I've got faith that Milligan & Dayglo know what they are doing. I'm not so sure that I'll like what they are doing. The last series and the current one (only two eps in, so I can't really judge it) both seem to be playing fast and loose with the concept of the subjective realities for our protagonists- even so far as them not being dead. I'm curious to see if there 'is' a big twist that turns the earlier BAD Company series on their heads.

If nothing else- it looks superb- and it's great to see Rufus back in the prog.

It fair brings a tear to the eye, seeing how Squaxx can come here and ask for the most obscure help. One day, all webforums will work this way... mostly...

General / Re: Why is Judge Fear so unpopular?

Fear is  interesting as his power could create the least victims, literally face to face, but imagine the massive casualties should he broadcast via a TV (or equivalent) station.

See McAuliffe & Boyle's second Dark Judgement special for Futurequake/Zarjaz for an example of this. I thought Rich had stuck these up as PDFs somewhere once the print editions had sold out, but my google-fu is weak and turns up nothing…

Found 'em- They are over on Rich's 2000 AD & Beyond Site.

Will Insurrection be collected in the Case Files? If not I am going to get this one as well. Also, wasn't there a second Insurrection as some point?

Rogue Judge- The Hachette Insurrection volume has the entire story in a single beautiful volume. Hightly recommended.

Megazine / Re: Lack of love for the bundled "floppies"?

Wagners Walk isn't complete?

Okay, we've had that before in the floppy- most memorably with Lobster Random.

I never read Tornado- or Starlord- before the mergers with 2000 AD, but I can imagine that both these titles had shorts in the style of Future Shocks- so why not split the total of the Wagners walk in half then supplement the rest of the issue with shorts? Is that not preferable to having series stop and start in the same issue as another one?

Am I missing a simple reason for this or am I talking cobblers because I 'don't understand making real comics'?

Horrendous news, Mr Baikie was a stunning artist & draughtsman. His work on Skizz was all the stronger by being so thoroughly grounded with detail.
