Hi guys...
I've been a bit quiet on the forum of late, but some of you will know me as a reliable supplier of back progs and Megs over the past few years.  :D

While I've been collecting I've amassed 1000s and 1000s of back progs - I've got boxes and boxes and boxes of them ferreted away around the house and in my garage.

Anyway, I've been thinking of packing the selling in for a while now - it simply takes up too much time, especially now as I've got myself a new job and will be working away most of the week for the foreseeable. I've started to find that I'm having to apologise more and more to people for the time it's taking me to put their orders together and I hate letting people down...

So... I'm looking to sell THE LOT in one hit.  :o Obviously what I have would probably suit a comic dealer / shop best - it's an opportunity to pick up a huge amount of stock in one hit. I don't currently have a comprehensive list of everything I have (I might be able to start putting something together over the Christmas holidays) but I'll post some photos of the boxes when I get chance, to give you an idea of the scale of what I'm trying to shift...
In the meantime here's a link to what I currently have listed up on eBay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ssn=betel_uk&_ipg=200&rt=nc
All of that would be included...

If anybody out there is seriously interested in buying everything from me in one hit, drop me a PM... in the meantime I'll update this thread with more details as I collate them. If the list ever gets to a comprehensive state and I've had no interest here, I'll put a listing up on eBay...

I'm in Leicester if anybody is close by and wants to drop by for a gander...

Help! / List of Nerve Centre Contributors?
20 June, 2014, 10:14:48 AM
I'm SURE I've seen mention of a list of all the earthlets who've had letters or art published in the Nerve Centre or various competitions etc. but I'm damned if I can find it  :-[

Anyone know where I can find one?

I've LOADS of listings up on eBay at the moment, including some rarer stuff:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ssn=betel_uk&_sop=1&_ipg=200&rt=nc
I might get chance to put some more 99p listings up later today too...

As ever, I've literally 1,000s and 1,000s of back issues available - many more than I get time to list on eBay, so if there are any back progs you're looking out for, drop me a PM.

Thanks for looking...  :D

Just a few days left to run on my Buy It Now listings for most progs between 1400 and the mid-1700s so I've just been through and knocked 50p off the asking price on every prog... BARGAIN!  :D

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=200&_ssn=betel_uk&_sop=1

They'll go back up to the previous price when I relist them later in the month so now's the time to buy if there's the odd prog or three you need...

As ever, 1000s and 1000s of other progs available so drop me a PM if there's something you're looking out for but don't see listed.

Cheers!

Classifieds / FOR SALE: Nemesis the Warlock Poster Prog
12 October, 2013, 01:55:56 PM
Picked up one of these the other day, I know they're quite sought after...
It's not a perfect copy... some signs of wear on the outer pages and a small rip and some crumpling at the edge of one of the inner pages. I can take some detailed photos if anybody is interested.
Only really interested in covering my cost on this one. It cost me £15 all-in so £18 should cover it with P&P to the UK (will ship further afield if anyone abroad wants it).
Drop me a PM if you'd like it.

Help! / eBay Photos not working properly?
29 September, 2013, 08:33:39 PM
Anybody else having problems with eBay pictures not uploading or displaying... I'm getting all kinds of weird inconsistencies... pictures on unsold items not reappearing on relisting... sometimes the list preview image isn't there, sometimes the photo in the main listing, sometimes both, difference between what I can see in the iPhone app and on my laptop on the same item..

Is it all messed up or is it me?

Just listed a load of really nice condition progs from the 100s and 200s... great upgraders if you're looking for really good quality progs from the newspaper pulp era:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_sop=10&_from=&_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ssn=betel_uk&_ipg=200&rt=nc

And still time to blag some more recent progs on a bunch of auctions ending today:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_ipg=200&_from=&_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ssn=betel_uk&_sop=1

As ever, many more progs than the ones you see listed so drop me a message if there's something you want.

Thanks for looking!  :D

Classifieds / Thinking of selling the ranch...
20 September, 2013, 11:37:23 AM
Hey guys... plenty of you will know me from around these parts... I've been selling back copies and stuff for the past couple of years. Hopefully a few of you are happy customers!  :D

Anyway, it's only ever been a bit of a hobby (in fact it started by accident when I was clearing my own collection from my mum's place when she took ill) and I've enjoyed it plenty, made a few quality acquaintances and rekindled my childhood love of 2000AD along the way. I'm a subscriber again!

But there's no denying it takes up plenty of time and a LOT of space... I have to rent storage these days and my wife can't help but notice that the loft, the dining room, most of the cupboards round the house and often the kitchen table are given over to piles of comics...  :-[

Had a few big life events this Summer that caused me to take stock a little and I'm *thinking* (thinking only mind!) of giving it all up and freeing up some time (and space!) for other stuff. At the moment I'm still ticking over and listing on eBay to cover my monthly storage costs but I've pretty much stopped buying.

So... the point of this post is two fold...

If you're after a big stack of back progs, now would be a good time to get in touch because boxes leaving the house send all the right messages to my long suffering wife! I'll cut you a deal.

and

If you're a dealer and might be interested in buying the lot, drop me a line. I don't have a complete stock list or anything and I'm only really interested in shifting everything in one go if I'm letting them go at dealer prices - the idea being to ditch the monthly storage bills asap. But there is scope for someone to bag themselves a LOT of thrill power stock if they want it.

Anyway, thanks for reading...

Spent a load of time this weekend sorting through my stash of early progs and taking photos so loads of previously unlisted items up on eBay this weekend. Loads of really nice quality sub-200 progs as well as a right shonky load of sub-100s!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/m.html?_sop=10&_from=&_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ssn=betel_uk&_ipg=200&rt=nc

As ever, let me know if there are any other progs you're looking out for as I could well have copies available...

Thanks for looking!  :D

BUGGER!!!  :o 47 today... it won't be long before I'll have to consider taking "The Long Walk"... Cursed Earth or an admin job? Hmmmmm....

AHEM  :-[

As the sands of time are fast running away from me I'm trying to shift some comics. LOADS of stuff up on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/betel_uk/m.html?_ipg=25&_from&_nkw&_armrs=1&_sop=1

There's a prog 232 WITH the gum amongst all that:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310723309683
Chancing a ridiculous asking price first time out but if a boarder is interested I'm willing to talk a serious discount on that (drop me a PM).

As ever, 1000s more issues not listed so if there's anything else you're looking out for drop me a list...

Cheers for looking!  :D

Hi guys,
Just finished listing my wares over on eBay. Included this time are copies of almost every prog from 1 to 99:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/betel_uk/m.html?_sop=10
Interesting amongst this lot is the drop out advertising flyer that came with prog 38:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170974171307
Which is a"make your own movie poster" offer from Matchbox and includes pictures of the "Raider Command" toy that Judge Dredd's Land Rider / Killdozer was modeled on.

As ever, many 1000s of other issues available... just drop me a line...

I was just sorting through a pile of 300s for someone and stumbled across the glorious centre spread "City of the Damned" "postergraph"... it had completely slipped my mind... Fabulous!

The rest of that Dredd strip is drawn by Steve Dillon... is the poster too? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm not too up on my artists...  :-[

Cheers!
