Bou, all the best for tomorrow. Sorry to hear it has reached this stage.

Not really the same sort of thing, but when Mini-Bolt came along I had to scrap all my ideas for how I wanted to live and provide a roof and food.

All the creativity stopped to allow for long hours in multiple jobs. Things are changing now and I am starting to reclaim 'my' life. LOng way to go but I am starting to be able to compbine the two.

(BTW: When I met you at Bristol, I was surprised at how little you were, I had always thought of you as being taller. As for works clothing catalogues; I normally add two sizes to allow people to move.)

It is part of a collage he is putting together at school, and I've scanned it as it will never be seen like this again. No idea how big the final collage will be, as the whole class is contributing to it.

I've pointed out one glorious omission- Elbow pads, but he didn't use any reference for his original drawing so he has got a lot more right than wrong.

Remember he has JUST turned thirteen.

I just use this one, and 2000adreview. Which has a milder pace for my aged mind.

Mind you, I like the thought of the Lego one!

Thing to remember though is that the GI's don't have a choice. They HAVE the biochips and I think it fair to assume that the survivors would feel compelled to retrieve them from the casualties.

In Alan Moores Rogue story that he did for the annual, Helm, Gunnar and Bagman clamoured all over the place to get Rogue to retrieve the chip from the proto-GI they found. Rogue resisted, but I think that may be more a part of his 'Rogue-ness' than any attribute of free-will.

For the record, I'd rather survive as a third rate pdf (bio-chip) than not at all.
